Rates: Our standard 2009-10 room rate is $110, plus the 7% Maine state lodging tax.

The charge for a third person staying in the Taylor Room is $20/night.

We do offer special rates for stays of four or more nights. and off-season (April, May and November), as well as discounts for AAA and AARP members, Gould Academy parents, and NTL participants. (No discounts apply for one-night stays.) Please call or e-mail us for specifics. And please check out our special offers!

All rates include a full country breakfast and afternoon tea.

Policies: We require a credit card number (Visa or Mastercard) in order to hold a reservation for you. We do not charge your card until your arrival, so you may pay by personal check or cash at that time, if you prefer. 

There will be no charge if you cancel at least 14 days before your scheduled arrival date. If a cancellation occurs within 14 days of your scheduled arrival date, a minimum of one-night's deposit or 50% of the total stay, whichever is greater, will be charged to your credit card.

Rivendell House has a firm no-smoking policy. We regret that we cannot accommodate pets.

"Winter Wonderland Weekdays" Special

Experience the beauty of Bethel in the winter, and get a great deal besides! Stay with us for three consecutive nights, Sunday through Thursday nights, for only $249 for two people, plus tax. Rate, as always, includes full breakfast and afternoon tea. This special begins January 3, 2010, and expires April 1. (Monday holidays and school vacation weeks excluded.)

Not a skier?? Come to Rivendell House Bed and Breakfast for a real "time away" from your hectic life. Relax by the fire, watch a good comedy on the DVD player, play a game, put together a jigsaw puzzle, or browse our extensive library. Take advantage of the healing power of our mountains and enhance the effect with a visit to SpiritWings, a compassionate healing center that offers massage, Reiki and other therapeutic services. Stay any three consecutive nights for $273 plus tax. Rate includes full breakfast, afternoon tea, discount certificates for any of SpiritWings' services and a gift basket with items that will soothe your spirit. Promotion Ends: June 30, 2010.
