Rates: Our standard 2012 room rate is $110, plus the 7% Maine state lodging tax.

The charge for a third person staying in the Taylor Suite is $20/night.

We do offer special rates for stays of four or more nights.  And please check out our special offers!

All rates include a full country breakfast and afternoon or evening refreshments.

Policies: We require a credit card number (Visa or Mastercard) in order to hold a reservation for you. We do not charge your card until your arrival, so you may pay by personal check or cash at that time, if you prefer. 

There will be no charge if you cancel at least 14 days before your scheduled arrival date. If a cancellation occurs within 14 days of your scheduled arrival date, a minimum of one-night's deposit or 50% of the total stay, whichever is greater, will be charged to your credit card.

Rivendell House has a firm no-smoking policy. We regret that we cannot accommodate pets.

"Valentine" Special

Valentine's Day does not fall on a weekend this year, but you can celebrate it anytime between Friday, February 10 and Thursday, February 16 at Rivendell House! Enjoy the cozy ambience of our guest spaces; nibble on some special treats provided by Gourmet in a Pinch;  sip champagne by the fire. All this along with our usual country breakfasts and afternoon teas for our regular weekend (two nights, double occupancy) rate of $200 (plus tax.)  We can make reservations for you at a local restaurant or set up an in-house massage appointment. Just let us know what you need to have a special time. (If you can stay longer, each additional night will only be $85. How's that for a sweet deal?) 

"Play in the Snow" Special 

       If you like X-country skiing or snowshoeing, Bethel is definitely the place to be! With three cross-country centers, plus the nearby White Mountain National Forest for going out on your own, there is no lack of ways to get fresh air and exercise before you return to your home-away-from-home to hot tea, chocolate, or mulled cider, accompanied by homemade cookies or other treats. With advance notice, we can arrange for an in-house massage to ease your weary muscles, and set up dinner reservations for you.
      Two-nights (minimum) with hearty breakfasts to give you energy - all for $100/night, plus tax.


Two Couples + Two Nights = $380

      We call this our "Friends Travel Together" Special and it's a great deal for you and for us! We only have two guest rooms, so you have the house as your private retreat, and we have a full house, but only one breakfast time. As always, you enjoy our full breakfasts, and refreshments in the afternoon. (Maine Lodging Tax extra).
