We are happy to help our guests plan daily itineraries to Mt. Washington and the Conway area of New Hampshire, the Rangeley Lakes, Sebago Lake, and even to Portland with its museums and waterfront. All are within an hour to an hour-and-a-half’s drive from Bethel, with many interesting things to do and see along the way. You’ll get to explore antique shops, visit many attractions, and see much of the best scenery that New England has to offer. If walking, hiking, canoeing, or bicycling are activities you enjoy, you’ll find them all close by. We even have a picnic backpack to loan you and can point you to some delightful picnic places! Or you can take a break from the rigors of sight-seeing and relax on our porch, nap in the hammock, or wander through our gardens.
